Service Cancellation and Refund Policy
Peacefulstudioao provides personal styling services rather than physical products. This policy covers cancellations, refunds, and related matters for our styling services.
Return Terms
The Timeframe and Conditions for Cancellations
Service cancellations must be requested according to the following terms:
- 48+ Hours Notice: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service time are eligible for a full refund
- 24-48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled service time may receive a 50% refund or credit toward future services
- Less than 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are not eligible for refund, though we may consider exceptional circumstances

Refund Procedure
How and When Refunds are Processed
Eligible refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction:
- Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days after approval
- Bank transfers may take additional time to appear in your account
- Credit card refunds will appear on your statement within one to two billing cycles
- You will receive email confirmation once the refund has been processed
If you paid by cash or another method, we will arrange an alternative refund method suitable to your situation.

Cancellation Terms and Conditions
You may cancel a service booking at any time before the service is provided, subject to the refund terms outlined above. Once a styling consultation or service session has commenced, it cannot be cancelled mid-session, though we will work with you to address any concerns about the service quality.
Non-Refundable Services
List of Services that Cannot be Refunded
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Completed styling consultations and sessions
- Services that have already been provided in full
- No-show appointments where the client fails to attend without prior notice
- Services cancelled due to client misconduct or violation of terms
- Custom styling packages that have been partially completed
However, if you are unsatisfied with a completed service, please contact us to discuss your concerns. We are committed to client satisfaction and will work with you to address any issues.
General Legal Requirements
This policy complies with Australian Consumer Law, which provides certain guarantees and rights that cannot be excluded. Under Australian Consumer Law:
- Services must be provided with due care and skill
- Services must be fit for the disclosed purpose
- Services must be provided within a reasonable time
If our services fail to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy such as a refund, replacement service, or compensation. This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Return Costs
Cancellation Fees
If a cancellation fee applies (for late cancellations), this amount will be deducted from any refund, or you will be invoiced separately if payment has not yet been processed. No additional fees apply for eligible full refunds.
